Violin or Viola classes (ages 6 & up)

The violin is a bowed string instrument with four strings tuned in perfect fifths. It is the smallest and highest-pitched member of the violin family of string instruments, which also includes the viola and cello.

The viola is a string instrument played with a bow which serves as the middle voice of the violin family, between the upper lines played by the violin and the lower lines played by the cello and double bass.

Students who graduated from Music Workshop classes with Miss Elena
are ready to start private violin or viola lessons after age 6.

Children who did not attend Miss Elena's classes
can start violin lessons if they are 7 or older.

Violin or Viola lessons are available Monday through Saturday.

Suggested duration of violin or viola classes
Ages 6 to10 -- 30 minutes
Ages 10 to 14 -- 45 minutes
Ages 14 & up -- 60 minutes

Private Violin or Viola classes
are available six days a week.
