Elena
Migunov -
director of
Bravo! Academy of Performing Arts
Elena Migunov was born in
Moscow,
Russia. She studied for eight years at the National School of Music and subsequently for four years at the First Moscow College of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credentials.
In 1979, Elena immigrated to the
USA
and founded Prelude Music Studio, the largest and most successful music school in
Los Angeles. Among Elena's students were children and grandchildren of many celebrities, including Gregory Peck, Lucille Ball, Shirley Jones,
O.J. Simpson, John Candy.
In 1994, Elena moved to
Boca Raton. Here, she founded Bravo! Academy of Performing Arts. At the moment, Bravo Academy has two locations in Central and East Boca Raton and employs about forty music, dance and theatre teaches. Elena continues teaching Pre-piano Music Workshop classes and private piano lessons. Elena's music programs for young children are unique and very successful. These programs encompass more than 500 activities, which cover many of the fundamentals of music.

Besides teaching music, Elena gave
piano concert-lectures at many country clubs, such as:
Mar-a-Lago, Boca Raton Resort, The Breakers in Palm Beach, Boca Pointe,
Woodfield, Boca West, Broken Sound, Polo Club.
In addition, she performed for the USA Embassy in
Moscow, International
Women's Club in
Moscow, Art Museum in
Fort Lauderdale,
Rollins
College, Alumni Club of Georgetown University, National Society of Arts and Letters, International Club of Boca Raton, Opus Society, Historical Society of Boca Raton.
